DDWS Allahabad celebrated republic day at the Childline Centre in Allahabad and in other 17 centres with children from the slums who do not have an opportunity to attend any school and salute a flag with national anthem sung by a choir. Fr. Deepak, the director of DDWS hoisted the flag. The children prayed for the nation and sung patriotic songs. There was lot of joy on these faces while shouting slogans in praise and honor of the nation that has done very little in promising a secure future.
